NAVE (b c1822 TN, d after 1880, buried Benton Co. AR). Need confirmation that Levisa was a dau of Henry NAVE (b c1788, resided Carter and Washington Co. TN, a son of Teter NAVE. Per census and other records, the children of Hugh J. and Levisa were: James M. b c1843, Murray B. (b1844, m Hannah JACKSON), John b c1846, Sarah M. b c1849, Mary E. b c1852, William Henry (my gr grandfather, b1855, d1924 Adair Co. OK, m1874 Washington Co. LANE to John McCROSKEY; Bill of sale for slaves.” Deed Book M (15)–6 Aug 1833 Street LANE to John McCROSKEY, his claim as legatee and heir of James LANE dec’d.” Deed Book M (123) “13 Dec 1833 Lindsey LAYNE of Monroe Co. to John McCROSKEY of same; his one- fourteenth part of the slaves as legatee and heir of James LANE dec’d.” Per census records, John W.
